The program changes the preparation plan.
TikTok’s order-shipping packaging document explicitly excludes FBT sellers. Confirm the actual fulfillment program before choosing a prep specification. bol requires a finalized shipment notification rather than a saved draft, with physical stock matching the notification.
When the final stock count, carton count or delivery date changes, ask the seller to confirm whether the inbound plan and labels must be updated. Do not assume a previous label remains valid.
WFS distinguishes item labels from receiving labels. Keep both linked to the same approved release record.

An illustrative hold decision.
A carton record says 48 units, but the final count is 46. Record the discrepancy, obtain the seller’s decision and revise the relevant shipment records before dispatch. This suggested control prevents a known mismatch from traveling with the shipment; it does not guarantee warehouse acceptance.
Keep the handover evidence.
Final stock and carton counts approved by the seller
Label file version and destination confirmation
Packaging and carton photos within the agreed scope
Collection reference and carrier handover record
Exception decision and responsible follow-up contact
The release approval records the plan; the handover record identifies what actually leaves China. Update the China balance from the actual dispatch quantity and retain any remaining reservations or restrictions with a review time. Track destination receipt and differences against that shipment separately; a later receiving difference does not create a second China dispatch.
Reconcile dispatch, delivery and receiving separately.
Keep the dispatch record, carrier delivery evidence and destination receiving result together. A carrier delivery confirmation does not by itself establish the quantity accepted or the stock available for sale.

Seller-confirmed platform stock status, checked separately from arrival
When quantities differ, identify the stage and affected SKU before requesting a correction. Preserve the evidence; the platform’s current investigation procedure and deadlines require separate verification.
Give each partial receipt its own record
For a split shipment, keep the expected transfer quantity and each batch’s dispatch quantity separately. At receipt, record the counted units, the outstanding quantity and any units held for identity or condition checks. Link each entry to its batch, carton and tracking references.
Illustrative record: a transfer expects 120 units; the first batch contains 80 and the agreed receiving count confirms 78. Record 2 units as a first-batch difference and 40 as still expected in the second batch. Keep any condition holds separate. This example does not establish that the 2 units are lost or that the second batch has been dispatched.
For a delivery that arrives in several batches, use the split-shipment receiving record to keep each dispatch, receipt and outstanding quantity distinct.
Shopify supports full or partial transfer receipt and multiple shipments. The seller’s transfer record does not replace the destination’s physical count or approval to release stock.
When a carton contains several SKUs, keep its identity connected to the actual contents. A visible shipment label alone should not be treated as a substitute for the agreed carton contents record.
Unique physical carton reference linked to the shipment label
SKU and variant quantities inside that carton
Actual packed dimensions and weight
Shipment or destination allocation and the approved record version
Any repacking change and the person approving the updated record
If a plan change requires cartons to be opened or stock redistributed, hold the affected batch while the contents, carton references and shipment labels are reconciled. Reconfirm the actual seller-account instructions before release; a historic split-shipment example does not establish current eligibility or fees.
Share the selected SKU quantities, destination, current seller instructions and any stock that should remain in China. Product acceptance, work, charges and receiving address need written confirmation.
