FROM THE OPERATION

Approve the packing version before work starts.

Agree unit protection, carton contents and the current seller-provided labels. Record final carton dimensions and gross weight before transport is arranged.

Explore packaging preparation

Approve the unit, then the finished carton.

Confirm the product, identifier and packing sample before repeating unit preparation. Confirm final carton contents, sealed dimensions, gross weights and shipment files before the approved handover.

Approve a sample before repeating a small batch

As a suggested packing sequence, separate the current batch from stock still on hold, confirm one unit’s identity and approved protection, then check one printed label for readability and the expected value. Prepare the remaining units against the approved sample.

Record each carton’s contents before sealing it. Measure and weigh the sealed dispatch carton, match its current routing label to the carton ID, and reconcile the final counts before handover. If the unit packaging, printer output or carton contents change, review the affected sample or record before repeating the work. Agree which checks and photos are included in the handling scope.

When your product is a sellable set.

The kit is a separate preparation decision. Agree all components, inserts and the finished-set identifier before labeling.

Common failure: copying a previous shipment.

A past carton label may point to a different receiving warehouse. A previous barcode file may belong to a different SKU or packaging version. Keep the final files tied to the current stock release.

Planning example: A seller splits one China SKU between FBA and WFS. Separate the channel allocations and approved identifiers before labeling; reconcile finished units against each shipment plan. This is an illustrative workflow, not a client case.

Discuss the checks for this batch.

Share the product and variant list, channel quantities, current label files and packing photos. For a kit, include the components per finished set. State which carton details are estimated and which are confirmed after packing.

Agree the sample, counting and checking scope, and identify approvals that are still pending.
