La Redoute MarketplaceLa Redoute Marketplace
Prepared in China.
Prepare home and lifestyle inventory in China for the marketplace seller’s agreed dispatch operation, product presentation and return route.
Identify the operating model.
La Redoute’s corporate marketplace page says selected professional sellers prepare and dispatch their own orders and handle returns. Its French return page distinguishes marketplace seller conditions from La Redoute’s own products. Confirm the seller’s actual logistics operation before preparing an overseas replenishment batch.
Connect the stock stages.
- 01
Confirm the dispatch arrangement
Identify the accepted seller, storefront and dispatch operator. Request the actual receiving location and current replenishment instructions rather than copying an address from La Redoute retail logistics information.
- 02
Reconcile the home article
Match textile size and color, material or finish, and the approved sales pack. For furniture, agree the component, fixing and assembly-instruction checklist before consolidating supplier deliveries.
- 03
Approve presentation and protection
Agree textile moisture protection and protection for ceramic, glass or finished surfaces. Record visible marks and carton damage against the seller’s sample and accepted inspection scope.
- 04
Confirm parcel or bulky handover
Finalize cartons, packed measurements and stock quantities. Obtain the receiving operator’s acceptance and the seller’s delivery arrangement before releasing long, fragile or bulky articles.
Approve the preparation records.
| Control point | Seller file or confirmation | China preparation decision |
|---|---|---|
| Style and variant | Seller article map, size/color list and approved finish | Keep similar fabrics or finishes distinct and hold any variant that cannot be matched to the approved offer. |
| Complete article | Component checklist, fixings and assembly instructions | Keep multi-carton sets linked; missing hardware requires a seller-approved completion or disposition decision. |
| Protection and delivery | Packed sample, carton sequence and accepted operator scope | Agree cushioning and surface protection; confirm the actual delivery service rather than promising assembly or room placement. |
Resolve the exception.
Planning example: A flat-pack side table arrives in two cartons, but one fixing bag is absent. Link both cartons to the same article, hold the set and obtain the seller’s replacement-parts or reallocation decision before replenishment.
This illustrates a stock decision and is not a customer case or a platform penalty claim.
Plan returns and stock withdrawal.
Use the marketplace seller’s instructions and approved receiver. Distinguish textile exchanges, damaged fragile articles and incomplete furniture sets. Record each carton, part and condition before restocking or rework; bulky collection, replacement-parts handling and any overseas return address require separate acceptance.
Confirm destination acceptance, handling restrictions and the return receiving address for the actual product and shipment before anything moves.

- SKU variants, finish specification and complete-set contents
- Packing sample, label files and carton sequence
- Shipment acceptance and seller-specific return instructions
Discuss the scope directly with the team. Receiving, preparation, freight and any destination work are confirmed for the product and route.
When the shipment needs a bulky-goods handover.
