LATIN AMERICA / CHILE AND PERU / PREP BRIEF
Ripley MarketplaceRipley Marketplace
Prepared in China.
Prepare China inventory for the seller’s accepted Ripley operation, distinguishing Chile fulfillment replenishment from country-specific local order handover.
Identify the operating model.
Ripley Chile’s seller logistics guide distinguishes ordinary carrier posting or collection from separately negotiated fulfillment. Its May 2026 fulfillment manual requires operator approval, a validated packing list and a confirmed receiving appointment. Peru’s current guidance describes pickup and assigned Drop Off for prepared orders; a store or distribution-centre handover point does not itself establish inventory-storage admission.
Connect the stock stages.
- 01
Confirm the country operation
Obtain the accepted account, actual stock origin and enabled logistics model. Identify the local receiver and importer responsible for the China replenishment movement.
- 02
Reconcile product identities
Map supplier units to marketplace and Seller SKUs, variants and accessories. Record finished package dimensions rather than using bare-product measurements for the receiving packet.
- 03
Approve intake or handover
For Chile fulfillment, obtain the approved replenishment, current packing list, carton labels and confirmed appointment. For local orders, obtain the account’s assigned carrier or Drop Off instruction.
- 04
Preserve physical evidence
Record quantities, carton condition and the executing operator’s handover evidence. The responsible seller supplies local invoice records; preparation work connects the physical batch with approved references.
Approve the preparation records.
| Control point | Seller file or confirmation | China preparation decision |
|---|---|---|
| Model approval | Country account and approved logistics allocation | Hold stock without an accepted receiver and model. |
| Carton identity | Current SKU map, packing list and labels | Replace superseded labels when the approved packet changes. |
| Handover scope | Confirmed appointment or assigned local order point | Keep inventory intake distinct from parcel Drop Off. |
Resolve the exception.
Planning example: A supplier labels Peru stock with a Chile fulfillment replenishment reference. Hold the batch and obtain the accepted country’s receiving packet before dispatch.
This illustrates a stock decision and is not a customer case or a platform penalty claim.
Plan returns and stock withdrawal.
Chile and Peru logistics guidance describe buyer returns moving to the seller’s warehouse or branch. Confirm the actual receiver and account workflow before movement. Record the order, received variant, accessories and condition; fulfillment stock recovery needs its own instruction. Receiving, rework or shipment back to China requires separate acceptance and seller disposition.
Confirm destination acceptance, handling restrictions and the return receiving address for the actual product and shipment before anything moves.
