OCEANIA / PREP BRIEF

Kogan Marketplace

Kogan Marketplace
Prepared in China.

Prepare China supplier inventory for the seller’s accepted Kogan dispatch operation, with Australia and New Zealand stock commitments kept distinct.

Identify the operating model.

Kogan’s public Marketplace page distinguishes retailers with online fulfillment capability from suppliers. It describes Australia storefronts and makes New Zealand participation conditional on New Zealand Seller Capabilities. The seller’s accepted account and dispatch origin therefore need confirmation before assigning stock.

Connect the stock stages.

  1. 01

    Identify the accepted storefront

Obtain the seller’s current account scope, ship-from location and executing operator. Keep Australia and New Zealand instructions separate.

  2. 02

    Reconcile supplier stock

Match received units with seller SKUs, variants, condition and accessories. Agree whether this batch replenishes local stock or supports an expressly accepted order-dispatch route.

  3. 03

    Approve the finished pack

Use seller-provided product and carton files. Check protection, included manuals and final measurements against the selected carrier and receiving operator’s acceptance.

  4. 04

    Connect stock and orders

Provide the agreed quantity and handover record to the seller. Keep replenishment transit separate from available stock and the dispatch estimate shown on a customer listing.

Resolve the exception.

Planning example: A supplier sends the Australian product version in a batch reserved for a New Zealand listing. Hold the affected units until the seller confirms product suitability, storefront allocation and the correct destination instructions.

This illustrates a stock decision and is not a customer case or a platform penalty claim.

Plan returns and stock withdrawal.

Kogan identifies the Marketplace retailer on the product listing and directs Marketplace returns through Contact Seller. Check the listing’s Warranty & Returns information, then agree the actual receiving address, order reference, condition photos and accessory record. A Kogan contact path does not establish a SinoWarehousing return address; acceptance and disposition require a separate agreement.

Confirm destination acceptance, handling restrictions and the return receiving address for the actual product and shipment before anything moves.
